The Colorado Rockies drafted Brady Parker in the 12th round of the 2025 MLB Draft. At the time of the draft Parker was a Junior at University of Houston - Victoria. In 2025 he started 15 games and had a W-L record of 8-3. He struck out 111 batters in 79.2 innings. Parker was 23-11 with a 4.71 ERA in his 3 years at Texas A&M - Victoria.

Brady Parker did not pitch in 2025 after being drafted. 2026 was his first professional season.

In 26 games (16 starts) with the Fresno Grizzlies, Parker posted a 3.61 ERA with 152 strikeouts. He had to endure a rough April where he gave up 19 earned runs in 13 innings (13.15 ERA) and hitters were batting .391 against him. When the calendar turned to May, he asserted himself as a dominant pitcher in the California League. In the month of May, Parker was 2-0 with a 1.93 ERA. He struck out 30 in 18.2 innings while holding batters to a .171 average. Parker did not lose another game after April 30th.

In 2026 Parker ranked in the Top 10 in the California League in several key stats:

Wins: 8 - 4th, tied with Jack Bowery, Seattle Mariners; Tyler Schmitt, San Diego Padres; Brayan Vergara, Los Angeles Angels
ERA: 3.61 - 1st
Innings Pitched: 112.1 - 1st
Strikeouts: 152 - 1st
Average: .219 - 1st
WHIP: 1.33 - 2nd

Parker helped to keep the Fresno Grizzlies in the playoff hunt until the final weekend of the season. He posted a 2-0 record in August with a 1.63 ERA in 5 games (27.2 innings pitched) and a .173 batting average against. Brady Parker’s best game of the season came on August 11th against the San Jose Giants. Parker pitched 6 no-hit innings. He walked 4 and struck out 6 batters on 90 pitches.

In 2026 Parker was dominant against left-handed batters. They hit a meager .181 average and Parker only allowed one home run. By comparison Parker needs some work against right-handed batters. He allowed a .233 average and gave up 6 home runs. As a starter Parker was 5-1 while posting a 3.25 ERA with 95 strikeouts in 80.1 innings pitched.

After the season Brady Parker was named the California League Pitcher of the Year. He also earned postseason All-Star honors. Parker will easily start with High-A Spokane in 2027, but could wind up in AA Hartford if he dominates in the spring.

Brady Parker’s 2026 performance should launch him onto the Colorado Rockies Top 30 Prospect list with the off-season re-rankings. He should land in the middle tier, probably around the 18-20 range.
