Cards for Kids
Cards for Kids is a free program created by Box Score Collectibles to help build the next generation of card collectors. We are looking to work with various organizations to help distribute free packs of cards to kids. Currently, we are working with the Stockton Ports and the Modesto Nuts in this program.
During every Sunday home game for the Modesto Nuts, we are handing out packs of cards to the first 300 kids.
We sponsor a giveaway table 2 to 3 times each season with the Stockton Ports. At this table we hand out free packs of cards to the kid and offer a raffle/giveaway for the parents and adults. The giveaway winners are announced on our YouTube a couple of days after the event.
In 2025, our goal is to give out over 3,000 packs of free cards at various events.
Previous Table Event
On Saturday, April 26th we set up a table at the Stockton Ports game as a part of their Halfway to Halloween event. Even though the game was called due to rain we gave out over 150 packs of cards to kids that visited our table.

Packs of cards being given out to the first 300 kids.
Box Score Collectibles is accepting donations of sports cards for use in the Cards for Kids packs. Packs will contain anywhere from 6-9 cards. So, as you can imagine, it takes a lot of cards to put these packs together.
If you are in Northern California and would like to donate, please contact us via the form on the right or email us at boxscoreca@gmail.com and we can arrange to pick up the cards from you. For collectors in other areas, we are willing to pay for shipping for medium or large flat rate boxes of cards.
While our preference is to work from donated cards, we are willing to consider buying large lots of cards, but for this program we are offering $0.01 to $0.03 per card.
PLEASE NOTE: We do not sell these packs of cards. We are providing packs of cards to groups as a free service.
