Home of the Tulsa Drillers
It was a cool Spring evening on April 8, 2010 when the Tulsa Drillers took the field for the very first time at OneOK Field. Their opponent: the Corpus Christi Hooks, the AA affiliate of the Houston Astros. 8,665 fans watched the Drillers get blanked by the Hooks by a final score of 7-0.
The Tulsa Drillers played their final season at Drillers Stadium at the Tulsa State Fairgrounds in September 2009. Construction on OneOK Field had started in December of 2008. The stadium was ready by April 2010 for its debut. The new ballpark was built in the historic Greenwood District near Downtown Tulsa
The official capacity of OneOK Field is 6,333 fixed seats and can accommodate 7,833 fans with general admission. Record attendance for a Drillers game was 8,762 set on April 14, 2016. This was the Drillers’s 2016 home opener against the Corpus Christi Hooks. The Drillers lost by a score of 10-5.
Anthony Jackson of the Drillers recorded the first hit at OneOK field with a single to right in the first inning. The first homerun in OneOK Field history came in the second game. The Hooks’s Koby Clemens hit a 2-run home run out to left field in the first inning. The Tulsa Drillers’s first win in the new ballpark came on April 11, 2010 as the Drillers beat the San Antonio Mission 9-6.
The dimensions of OneOk Field are asymmetrical. It is 330 feet down the left field line. 381 feet out to left center field. Center field is 400 feet. Right center is 371 feet and the right field foul pole sits at 307 feet. The playing surface is recessed 13 feet below street level. This offers a view down into the stadium from street level.
The clubhouses are located underneath the stands with tunnels leading to and from their respective dugouts. The bullpens for both teams are located out in right field. The Drillers’s dugout is located on the first base side and their bullpen is next to the right field foul pole. The visitor’s dugout is on the third base side and the bullpen is towards right centerfield.

Around the Concourse
There are three main gates where fans can enter OneOK Field. The Tulsa World Entrance (N Elgin Avenue) is located on the first base side, next to the team store. The Oil Derrick Entrance (corner of N Elgin and E Archer) brings fans in near the right field corner. The Osage Casino Hotel Greenwood Entrance (N Greenwood) is located in left center field.
OneOK Field has a 360 degree concourse. Fans can access all of the features and areas of the concourse from any direction. Hornsby’s Hangout is located on the left field side of the concourse. This is a kids play area where they can access special games and activities with the purchase of a wristband. There are two lawn areas, one in left center and one in right field where fans can bring a blanket and watch the game from just beyond the outfield wall.
One of the more attractive features of OneOk Field is the mural of Jackie Robinson that can be seen just beyond the left field wall. The mural measures 26 feet tall by 40 feet wide and was a collaboration between Chris “Sker” Rogers and Thomas “Detour” Evans. The mural was painted on the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce West Building. The Tulsa Drillers commissioned the mural in partnership with the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce.
The game is visible from most areas along the concourse. Behind the batter’s eye is a hidden gem: The Red Diamond Splash Zone. This is a water park area where fans of all ages can come to take a break from the heat and play in the water.
From the stands fans can view two different scoreboards in the outfield. The primary scoreboard is in left center field. There is a smaller scoreboard with the line score just to the right field side of the batter’s eye. Along the facade of the second deck there is a ribbon scoreboard. Sightlines from the stands offer fans a view of Downtown Tulsa.
Concessions
OneOK Field has a wide variety of food offered at their concession stands. There are around 25 different concession stands and carts throughout the stadium. Stands like Concessions 66 and Oilers Alley offer the traditional ballpark food. Some of the unique highlights include the Boomtown Menu, which can be found on the third base side. This menu features 2-foot long items, ranging from a burrito to sandwiches and even a 2 foot long cheeseburger.
If you're looking for something served in a helmet, there is a cart towards the left field foul pole that offers Helmet Nachos as well as a smaller burrito bowl that comes in a souvenir Drillers bowl.
Facilities
There are 24 suites available at OneOK Field; the majority of the suites are located on the second deck. There is also a field level suite where you can watch the game from the same level as the players.
If you have a group of 25 or more that needs a Place to go, there are several options that can be reserved throughout the season. The Country Financial Terrace gives groups of 75 to 400 a prime view of the game from over the left field wall. Just beyond the left center field concourse is the Osage Casino Hotel Pavilion. The Pavilion provides guests with a 2-hour buffet for at least 50 people. Since this area is just outside of game view, seats in sections 115-119 are included.
Other group areas include the Coors Light Refinery Deck, located on the first base side of the second deck. The Estrella Jalisco Scoreboard Bar is underneath the main scoreboard in the left center field. Down the left field line in the second deck, fans can enjoy a view of the downtown area from the Busch Light Landing.
Team Store
The team store is located along the first base line near the Tulsa World entrance. The team store offers a full complement of gear from the Tulsa Drillers and their alternate identities like the Ranch Dippers, Noodlers and Raft Racers.
During the off season and on non-game days, the team store is open Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm and can be accessed from the entrance on Elgin Street.

Outside the Ballpark
The surrounding neighborhood of Downtown Tulsa offers up a variety of activities where one can make a full day of going to the ballpark. The Tulsa Arts District is the home to the Bob Dylan Center, the Woody Guthrie Center and the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame. Each of these cultural centers are less than a mile from OneOK Field.
The Greenwood Rising Black Wall Street History Center is located just outside OneOK Field about a block away from the Osage Casino Hotel Greenwood Entrance. This center reflects on the Black Wall Street Massacre of 1921.

Final Score
OneOK Field in Tulsa is a great place to take in a Minor League Baseball game. All of the seats offer up a wonderful view of the action and seating from the infield bowl provides fantastic site lines of Downtown Tulsa. The 360-degree concourse allows fans to view the game from all vantage points.
The ballpark is clean and very well maintained. The concession stands seem to be well staffed so that the lines flow smoothly. One of the more impressive features of OneOK Field is located at the Oil Derrick gate, in the right field corner. There is a replica Oil Derrick that shoots flames whenever the Drillers hit a home run or win the game.
