Blaster Box: 2023 Panini Prizm Football
As the football season was heading into the playoffs I was able to get my hands on a couple blasters of 2023 Prizm Football. This set is loaded with veterans, rookies and retired stars. Boxes for this set are available in a couple different formats. We are going to open a blaster box and see what’s inside.
Panini Prizm Football is a 400 card set with the last 100 comprising the rookie class. Unlike most of the Topps baseball releases, the checklist is primarily organized by team.
The 2023 Panini Prizm blaster contains six packs with four cards per pack. Over the past few years Panini has pushed the boundaries of the parallels. This year’s release showcases over 50 different parallels.
Typical to Panini’s form, each box or pack type has exclusive Prizm parallels. In the blaster you can find five Orange Laser Prizms on average.
In addition to the exclusive parallels, I also pulled Silver Prizm of first overall draft pick Bryce Young.
In the blaster I only pulled one insert card. It was a Tony Pollard Fireworks card.
One of the bigger cards I pulled was a Silver Prizm Rookie Variation of C.J. Stroud.
From a set collectors standpoint the organization of the checklist by team is nice. The availability of the product and the number of base cards in each pack makes it a difficult set to complete.
Admittedly, I do not know a lot about football. It has been years since I have watched games on a regular basis. I know enough to know many of the big name rookies, but not a lot outside of that. This was the first football product I have opened in the past few years. Prizm is usually a fun product to rip and this blaster did not disappoint.
